RATIONING? Critics argue that health-policy nonprofits like the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review serve as pseudo-rationing organizations by erring on the side of economic caution rather than saving lives in helping states determine which drugs will be covered. is a new online service that, in reading it’s post headlines, seems to skew right. It is funded by Libertarian and conservative donors. But the following story would be of interest to any point of view. Also well written and researched. Good background on the firms that actually drive and steer the system. The story also relates to Washington State’s system.
